I’m a software engineer living in San Francisco. I work at Figma on features like Comments, Spotlight, Branching & Merging and other things 🤫.
A lot of my focus at Figma lies in browser performance, and frontend UI/UX.
Before Figma, I worked for a long time at Square as a full stack engineer and later, engineering manager. I worked mostly on logistics and courier payment solutions for Caviar (Square’s Restaurant business). I also spent two years at Flexport automating and scaling tasks such as boat tracking, boat timetables and cost prediction.
I got my degree in the UK (my home country) at Imperial College London where I studied Computing, Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
I like building useful things for other people. I’m a believer in technology, but also digital minimalism, and am hopeful we’ll find the balance between the two.
I’m a trail runner and a backpacker. One of my favorite annual adventures is finding and staying in remote old fire lookout towers.
